DR. BOND,

I'd say Vivus CEO Leland did an excellent job promoting Vivus..
Some importent issues clarified.
1. He didn't see any reason to lower the price for muse do to it's uniqueness in the market place. If you need aggressive therapy you have no other choice except caverjets needle therapy...
2. He said insurance reimbursement was over 70%.
3. He said they had 75 full time sales rep.to call on the HIGH Prescribing Physicians Groups.
4. He said his primary challenage was how to reach the primary care physican and that Vivus was test marketing a RENT A REP. PROGRAM to fulfill this need. So far the program was highly successful and would be expanded.

J Hemant Shah of HKS and CO. in my opinion was an absolute uninformed meathead. His comment that he though the market was only 5 million men was rediculious. Then he attempted to equate ED drugs to rogaine. What he failed to mention was that rogaine does not work so therefore the market never materialized.

Doc, the last few trading days show some accumulation for the first time since VVUS came off $40 something in October. Wall Street was watching the ED CEO's and friends on TV last night too. Zona got a new partner and some bad press. PFE gets the fast track. There are some things in life that are plain hard to dispute. Vivus, for example, has product on the shelf, enjoys a growing relationship with the medical community and ED patient population, and continues to rack up winning quarters. It can not be disputed that the UK agreement, the new US facility and the Irish facility are rocketing towards us like the provervbial freight train.

No Doc, I haven't melted. I've been enjoying the show, but I thought I'd pop up and mention that the current VVUS sale is about over IMHO. This hunch ain't about double-blind tests, literature reviews, delivery methods, shorts, spys, spooks or market niches; it's more about freight trains, fundamentals, and timing.

A long Southern Bubba,
Frostman
