Richard - Sorry I can't offer any help on KMAG, but IOM is a completely different animal from the rest. Their sales keep growing, they have virtually no credible competition, and they are introducing new products. The other DD companies are perceived as being in a commodity business that is currently seeing hard times. Just my opinion, of course.

Richard go back a ways, this is old news. Mid-summer Seagate warned.
Then they warned again. Then they didn't meet the estimate. Read-rite also warned analysts to lower their estimates, etc.
These conditions are already recognized, analysts estimates are always on the optimistic side - how else do you suppose they can justify "buy" or "attractive". Seagate is already at dead-bottom valuation and this stock is supposed to be the "leader". I think we saw the most of the effect yesterday and today.
