Fred, the specific claim that Aztech makes is digital mixing of signals that have different sampling rates.

DirectSound does this. A free product previously distributed by Microsoft does this. I believe that some software that does the same thing was done by another company (can't think of the name of the company, but they have a product called SoundForge).

Further, it is a concept that may well be found to be "obvious on it's face" and not patentable. But I don't think that this will even be an issue, as the prior art is clearly there.
