USSR had a lot of nationalities and at least 20
different spoken languages. I think Stalin sent
a whole nation to Siberia, the Chechens. There
were a lot of Asians and middle Eastern/Islamic
type people, but virtually no black people. There
was also some equivalent of American Indians -
tribes living mostly in Northern Siberia, etc.
A huge collection of nations, you
can almost compare it to EU -g-
