No, it was created at the time of the great depression when the majority of the country wanted FDR to balance the disparity between Unions and Corporations. That's why it got enacted. Today, I concede, might be a different story, but if Republicans win the next election maybe they will give NLRB abolishment a try. Business owners are just upset because the for the first time in a decade the Democrats have the majority at the NLRB and are actually doing what is supposed to do.

If Republicans are success ful in abolishing the NLRB they will have succeeded in making the working man totally dependent on the good will of organizations whose only goal is to make money. Why is that a good idea?
