Cheney's Deceit of Shakespearean Proportions

A rather remarkable man.........he doesn't care how many people he hurts or how many people hate him. I have a hard time forgiving Americans who let such a man into the WH.

A frequent refrain we hear these days is that Obama is not providing leadership. I wonder who is. If you look at the House Republicans, they are pulling in all different directions and it is showing, the most recent being the flap over the timing of the President's address on his Jobs plan. The House has become dysfunctional as a result. The Republican House members care a hoot about their Speaker, the Speaker cares a hoot about the President and refuses to return his call etc. etc.

And now we see how divided the previous Administration was. We wonder what sort of a leader W was in commanding the respect of his cabinet including his VP. Looks like, the VP was running his own Govt. similar to the House Republicans are doing with Eric Cantor who is running his own team and sidestepping the speaker. That provides a clue on why the country went downhill the way it did under W.

Question: Have the Republicans demonstrated that they have changed from their Bush days and are ready to play a responsible role in Govt.? If so, who is their leader?

Why am I surprised?

And in Rep. Gabrielle Giffords’ (D) Arizona district, the local Republican Party is trying to raise funds by holding a raffle this week, awarding the winner
a Glock handgun. It’s a distasteful choice — Giffords was nearly assassinated by a madman wielding a Glock.
