Long, don't be so coy. It's clear to most of us that you're saying that Obama has gotten too many things through affirmative action. That he's not very smart and not deserving. That if he were white we wouldn't have him as a president and that some poor deserving person got stepped over for each step of the ladder that he climbed. You think this despite the fact that, to my knowledge, there's never been any evidence that he ever received any affirmative action boost.

Unfortunately, people like our past Secretary of Defense, Gates, take exactly the opposite position from you. They think he's one of the smartest people in the room, that he has excellent grasp and that he deserves to have risen to the level of power on each step he's climbed. That's why I posted the summary of his performance as President of the Harvard Law Review written by a Bush/Cheney attorney.

But you won't listen because in your black and white world he has to be totally worthless for you to feel right.

I, on the other hand, have some real issues with him as president but I'm not so righteous as to "know" that I'm right and he's undeserving and wrong on everything. Ed
