I am not certain about this, but of the oil majors, I think BP does the most solar.

But of course as a percentage of their revenues it is miniscule.

Sorry, I was not clear. Only the first 4 on the list are solars (FSLR, YGE, TSL, JKS). The others are in alt-energy in various other ways, but not in solar.

WM is a trash company, that is extracting gas from their landfills. They currently produce more electricity this way, than all the solar power in the U.S.

XOM (Exxon) has invested a lot of money in fuel-from-algae technology, so far without success.

RDSA (Shell) has invested 20B$ in Brazil, becoming a major player in ethanol from sugar cane, and working on cellulosic ethanol.
