This might sound disingenuous - but I think its very good news for Iluvien.

(a) Avastin (apparently) is being dumbed-down (dosed-down) by mom&pop "bacterial" shops.

(b) Goodby Avastin (and $60 a shot) - maybe.

(c) Avastin and Lucentis carry the same anchor - 1 shot every 4 to 6 wks vs 1 shot Iluvien every
36 -/+ months or so.

(d) If (b) happens that leaves lasers/Lucentis/Iluvien -- or -- hole-in-the-eye vs $$ mucho dinero vs
get a catarack fix with Iluvien.

I am really more nervous as to why we may actually have to wait until November.

There is some part of the efficacy (I guess) that I ain't fully understanding.

regards
John
