Krugman,Stiglitz and Rogoff say different. 40% of the stimulus was tax cuts. They don't work and more of it was aid to states. all three said the stimulus was too samll at the time. Obams has refused to listen to them.

As Krugman says: if we were bing invaded by aliens and had to marshall all forces we would be out of this in 18 months.

What happened in WWII.

We've all had a laugh over Krugman's alien invasion fantasy. The only real benefit economically would come from giving the President's administration a new enemy to fight other than American business .... like WWII did for Roosevelt.
