If you would have put your money into an unmanaged, no-load index fund, you would be up 50% or so. It's tough to beat the market by trading.

No it is impossible to tell you a downside bet unless you trade futures and even then, it ain't so simple.

By the way, I'm only answering this question because a dork yanked me back into this arena. Honest, I'm just a tired mo' fo' trying to catch up on other stuff.
