re Bayer - the 750M$ is not that big of a deal for a 35B$ revenue company. I have provisioned already for the 750M$ (at least part of) per Q2 newsletter, the rest is just peanuts.

Seeds have shown strong growth (~20% YoY). I like that they concentrate more on functional enhancements (improved nutritional value, value for the end customer) while MON concentrates it seed enhancement that add value to the farmer (like the RoundUp ready seeds which add convenience and yield for the farmer).

Bayer AG (BAYRY.PK)

Stock off 16% and now yielding over 4%. No company specific news but I am holding off on my initial buy looking for an entry point around $46.00/share. Company is coming into value territory on the sell off of the European stocks.

NSRGY off 7.6% following the European stock sell off last night.
