Bob, you have to admit there are no easy fixes for the job problem. See my post to Brumar. As for Obama, I suspect that if he lost the election he'd breath a deep sigh of relief and get on with his life with his wife and his kids. I wouldn't want that job, would you. And, of course, you have to ask how the jobs situation would be going with all the problems we've had and with McCain/Palin at the helm. Although we'd have the cooperation (versus the entrenched opposition at every turn) of the Republican majority in the House and the Republican super minority in the Senate, something tells me we'd have at least as many economic problems as we do now.
