Fuchi, Unfortunately, I can't wait several months. I need to purchase a notebook buy the end of November. I have about $3,000 to $3,500 from a grant, so I can get a machine with at least 256K in L2 catch. My problem is that I don't know which company offers the best price/performance ratio and/or the highest quality in laptops. Do I buy Micron, WinBook, Compaq, Gateway, Fujitsu, or what? Again, any suggestions would be appreciated.
