I missed the part where Microsoft automatically requests your permission to track so you have knowledge that you're being tracked like Apple does. I guess you're happy, when it comes to privacy, that Microsoft only sticks it half way in. You're awfully generous with Microsoft's probable bug but seem unforgiving of Apple's probable oversight of storing information for an extended period and definite oversight of storing it on the device which served them no purpose. But you see it as some evil plot. Sure seems like you have two sets of standards.
