This is the weekly update of the Group and SOXM(SOX) tables in terms of earnings estimates and price changes.

Earnings estimates for both the Group and SOXM continued their downward trend. Looking up the chart for the Group, both for Cur Yr and Nxt Yr, peak earnings estimates were at the 40 level, now they are down to the 33 level. Note that Nxt Yr earnings are nearly the same as Cur Yr earnings showing no growth going forward. The SOXM earnings show better in this regard, but they are also down from their peak earnings estimates during the week of 3/4 by about 6 to 7 dollars.

The last 6 weeks since the week ending 7/22 has seen a drop to a new level for both indices.

I must apologize for the SOXM change table previously posted. I don't know exactly how it happened, but the first column in the table is all "messed up" and needs to be replaced. The correct data is shown in this updated table.
