TH lives in Detroit. His perspective is as distorted by that as your's is living in Seattle! On the contrary, I don't think my perspective is all that distorted. You forget my background........... let me repeat. I have studied urban planning and cities since I was 12. I have a master's in public administration and urban planning. I have turned many a project and a couple of neighborhoods in my career. My position is not based on opinion but on hard earned facts and lots of bumps and bruises. Give me a little credit for knowing that Seattle is not typical.
