<< BTW here in Toronto more and more Mandarin being spoken.. Cantonese (Taishan, my folks) and some Hakka were the first wave.. Interestingly a big (relative) influx of Hakka from India and Mauritius the last few years. . but many seem to have lost their ethnic language.>>

I couldn't give a flying hoot one way or the other as I am not Chinese and don't speak Cantonese or Mandarin. However, I do want to say something about the Cantonese, based on my experience and interactions with them: They are as free in spirit as they come and are open to all cultures to enhance their individual lives. I have never seen a culture as open, free-spirited and eclectic as the Cantonese here in NYC. Many of the Cantonese youngsters I know refuse to learn Mandarin as their way of rebelling against mainland China. Again, this is just my experience, based on interactions with thousands of Cantonese youngsters.

<<So it is only the Chinese that want your services>>

You appear to be jumping to conclusions.

Gold:

Be careful Goldbug. If gold acts like it did in 2008, it will be the last commodity to top out before it crashes along with stocks. US $2007 looks a good area for a short sale.
