I'm sure you've heard the term, "Settled Science".

When that was used by the president, as a statement of finality (after many legitimate scientists came forwaard against AGW), it became clear to even the village idiot, that a political war of wills would ensue. And that is exactly what happened. The result? Endless bickering over what should be another piece of good governance -- to the detriment of doing the right thing for the country.

Obama chose to demonize the folks who believed in moderation (one of the few things that he is good at).

Now, Wharfie, would you call that a good example of one who is called the leader of the world? A great uniter?

Once again. Global warming is an issue, but it darn sure isn't "Settled Science".
