Actually, the simple question of who should vote and who should not be allowed to vote divides the left from the right. At both extremes communist/facist nobody gets to vote, or your vote doesn't count.

Trees
Animals
People of the world
Children
Illegal immigrants
Felons
Illiterate
Mentally challenged
Uneducated
People requiring assistance to register
People receiving or not receiving government assistance
Taxpayers
Land owners
Only people who can answer simple civics questions like how many branches of government are there and where does Obama get his "stash"
