actually, it can get too cold for polar bears too. if the ice gets too thick, they won't be able to break through and hunt. they would starve then too. too cold and they could also freeze. everything has its 'just right' zone.

how was that good for polar bears ? if the were at the north pole they would have been buried by two miles of ice before they could go south. How did they eat, what did they eat
