Economic dynamics don't always work out for environmental dynamics

they do if they're allowed to.

take 'dolphin-free' tuna for example. most people like dolphins and many were being killed by accident while the tuna were being caught. people vowed to stop buying tuna that was caught without regard for the dolphins. suddenly, nearly ALL the tuna companies were taking care not to kill dolphins during the tuna catch so they could say that their tuna was dolphin-free.

free markets are in a constant state of correction. price represents value, and value changes. it took time for the dolphins to get into our consciousness, but when they did, they were saved. a government law couldn't have worked as well as the market for many reasons. if the government stays out of it, free markets regulate themselves. we're not talking about no regulation, we're talking about having no GOVERNMENT regulation.
