the Obama march to the European model continues Václav Klaus has an interesting article in the latest Imprimis - tinyurl.com. He writes about how the Czechs endured the Nazis, then the Communists. In '89 things looked bright. Now they're fading under the stultifying effects of "Social Democracy". His optimism is wounded and he fears the US is on the same track. What we learn from history is that we don't. Worse only a minority has any idea what works, what doesn't, and why.
