Thanks for sharing your scientific back ground which appears fairly similar to my own. I think we both have enough of the basics to know what we don't know--which to me is the most important thing--which is why I am very reluctant to get into the evaluation of the science itself . I mean I can tell Scientist A says x and Scientist B says y, but how do we evaluate their findings and methodologies not being professional scientists ourselves? And since you are promoting a particular side of a scientific argument here (citing different sources etc.) I thought it appropriate to see if you had any particular expertise in the field. Does that not seem appropriate to you?
