The slide to the right you're speaking of is a fairly new phenom and BTW is the greatest thing that Obama has ever done for the country....... You see, his election triggered the TEA party,,,,,,, a real grass roots movement, not a bunch of astroturfed assortment of union members and stew bums that show up to protest conservatives, where ever they are. Is it just your opinion as to the direction of the political wind or have you read/studied something that showed that? If you've lived through the last 40 years and were anywhere near politically aware you'd notice the slide, I don't need to take a course on it.......

Is it just your opinion as to the direction of the political wind or have you read/studied something that showed that? My first two years of university I was a geology major. I took 6 geology specific courses, two semesters of physics, one semester of chem, and of course, calculus. I was going for a focus of structural geology and tectonics...seismology...earthquakes, fun stuff.....however, my work load at the time was making that major a bit more challenging than I was up for at the time. I switched to English. However, I did manage to take two political science courses in that mess as well. Am I qualified to respond to science related posts? How about political related topics? Or should I leave those to the experts as well? Or should I stick to correcting grammar?
