Entitlements? That's a pretty pejorative word, especially for SS, which people paid into all their lives ... I'd think they'd be entitled to get it back, no?

I am not for that. I think there is a great majority who are not rich AND are not receiving government assistance (I don't mean SS) who should decide. With food stamps up to 40 or 50 million that does eliminate quite a few though.

"Entitlements? That's a pretty pejorative word, especially for SS," Did I say Social security was an entitlement? No, I did not. This sort of thing is exactly why we never get anywhere. Everyone is just listening to what's going on in their own heads instead of listening and communicating.

NOTHING makes me angrier than to hear Social Security labeled an entitlement.
