Personally, I'm getting a little tired of Mauldin's schtick. But, when I read that he's making Butternut squash/ginger soup, at a BBQ, in the summer, in Texas, well, you just gotta wonder who you're dealing with.
Make black bean soup. Make chicken/taco soup. Make a chilli. But, girlie soup? Come on!

S&P has said over the weekend through one of its senior spokespeople in Europe that if a EUR-bond is underwritten it shall have the rating of the lowest rated constituent country involved and thus will have coupon far, far above that of Germany, or France or Belgium et al. A EUR-bond would thus have the credit rating of Greece!"

Adding Germany as an obligor adds nothing to the credit? If Greece is on the paper, the overall credit sinks to the level of the lowest?

Joint and several has no meaning?

Absurd.

old tx,

I got my "Outside the Box" this morning - a day late? I wonder how the electronics of that distribution work?
