OT: re: colonoscopy: for a really, really good clear fluid: make chicken broth simmering a nice fresh chicken in good chicken broth. I call it "double chicken." You could even make "triple chicken" broth.

Chinese version, add good ham when making the broth. Yunnan ham or Smithfield.

Just make sure you strain it well, through cheesecloth or similar. Chill, remove the fat from the top.

Drink this and you will retain your strength, won't screw up the imaging.

got one circa five years ago, clean as a whistle, no polyps, nothing out of the ordinary, good for 10 years.
