I'm only promoting a view point by saying x amount of scientists think this way and y amount think this way--which may be too simplistic. You are promoting a view point by actually evaluating the science processes or lack there of--which takes some level of expertise on the matter. It could be that I am being to cautious about tiptoeing into this morass as sandbagging data, if happening, or manipulating data, if happening, are not scientific processes in and of themselves. Still some level of understanding about what is going on is required. It may be I'm too lazy to want to wade into it.
