Elmer,The speed limit is 70.Intel's car can go 200 while Amd's car
only has a top speed of 150.......so what......few people drive
this fast .

The cpu performance race is now in this condition, who needs
it.....Few people really utilize much of thier pentium cpu
so why will they want still faster cpu's?????

I have a 200 mhz system and really cant see getting a pII 300 mhz
it does me little good for what i do with my machine.
When you start talking about CHEAPER prices then, like
most good consumers, i am interested.Say about 400 or 500 bucks
for a complete machine.

YOu guys keep yaking away and missing the point it is entertaining.
A SOBER WARNING in the next few years the CPU ASP will fall to less than 50 bucks.

If Intel sells 100 million cpus at 50 bucks a pop
They only gross 5 BILLION.Can you say DRAM?

So bicker away over cpu's while the world moves on to more
interesting technologies. Most people get what they deserve.
