As for my solution, I offer none as it is pointless...rather just watching histroy unfold/repeat and trying no to get run over too badly by it I agree with this almost entirely. Perhaps my folly is believing offering solutions is not pointless, or at least informing friends where we are going because many of them are going to be run over. It will not end well. Most people on these threads are paying attention enough to know that it will not end well, and yet I believe many want to continue to pursue policies that brought us here and are taking us down this road. Parts of society (policies not people) are like a cancer or gangrene, and your question "Do you want to go there?" is like asking do you want to cut off your arm or leg. Well no, I don't want to , but it may be the only way to save the patient.
