well, as always, we will just have to wait for the telcos to actually report the problem. it is one thing to get info from people who arent working for the companies. didnt BA estimate that 80% of its lines would be ADSL capable. funny how there is relatively little info from the RBOCs, but volumes from telecom analysts.

the arguments have been made on both sides, but what really stands out in my mind is what most of the telecom analysts have said...that the rollouts are related more to regulatory issues than technical issues.

at any rate...this is moot. it wont take many lines for the industry to make money.
