Because the ultra powerful Military Industrial Complex loves Petraeus...and Obama gives the Military Industrial Complex what they want most of the time....we don't have well over 100,000 U.S. troops playing war games over in the mountains of Afghanistan by accident...and the ramped up drone wars didn't happen by accident.

I don't know why Obama does anything?

I don't even like half the people he likes. I don't like Gene Sperling, Geithner, Summers, Rahm, Gibbs, Daley. And half the people he had that were good have run off like roemer, volker and goolsby.

I always thought Petraeus was an asshole and liar.
