The bottom line is that so long as China is holding trillions in Treasuries, it will be compelled to do something to preclude the USD's ongoing stealth devaluation. And even a small allocation to gold reserves will send the metal to the stratosphere.

Then there are the Indians and the Chinese populace and J6P when he realizes he can hold bullion in his IRA and the Euros who are seeing the ECU crumble around them....
