could i suggest you reference something other than some blogger. i heard the 30% in bastrop very early wednesday morning. the wind stopped blowing, and the temps are way down. as long as some arsonists don't show up, the firefighers are getting it under control.

i intentionally referenced an austin newspaper article for info instead of a blogger. here i will give you a texas forest service website somehow using texas a&m servers. it will update you for fires and containment. the fire in bastrop was one of the worst, and you can read (as of early this morning when this data was valid) the bastrop fire is 30% contained, but it is just the interior of the area that still has some fire burning. i heard this report on tv about 8:30 am this morning. as long as there are embers burning that could flare up again, that is counted as not contained as i understand it.
