Important indicator for the US markets: stocktiming.com What this will mean for GLD and SLV is anyone's guess.. But it seems clear that there is upward pressure on the USD (UUP) in light of all the currency devaluations including the Swiss Franc, Euro, and potentially the Yen. GLD/SLV may hold up well against these currencies, but against the USD, I'm not yet sure. We'll know in the next few weeks. And the ultimate question will be what will happen to US equity markets in the face of a stronger USD? Hawk
