I had a similar problem. Try recycling your modem and router, if you have a router. There are a number of bugs in Edge and Schwab apparently doesn't have a schedule for fixing the program. They are using all their resources to complete the program and get all the modules released.

I'm using Streetsmart Edge, Ver. 1.10.28.0. Since the release of Ver. 1.8, I've had a very annoying problem. When I click on a tab, or any other feature in the program, I may get a delay of 1 to 5 seconds before the feature I clicked on appears.

About 5 calls to Schwab's Tech Support has failed to resolve the problem.

Is anyone else have this problem?

Of note, all my other programs in my computer work fine, no delays.
