Appreciate any pointers/reports on how Bay is
getting ready for the electronic commerce. Are any special
features needed to be competitive in that segment ?

Is there any article showing product profile which shows in
what segments Bay wants to be in,and future projections of the
needs and requirements to be competitive in that market space.

I think Dr House has done a great job in stabilizing
the company and boosting the morale of the employees. It would
be nice to know their future plans, and how they view themselves.
I would expect the growth of the company to come from addressing
the needs of newly emerging applications and markets

Thank you for all of you, who are actively participating in this
group. I learnt quite a bit from previous articles and thanks
to everyone for their time and effort in educating others.

Re -- Is there any information on Bay working on products to integrate voice and data.

I remember reading an article a while back which said that bay would present a paper describing their strategic plans for this. It also hinted, that it would be based on H.323..

The above is just rumor. However it indicates that Bay is involved in this effort. Maybe some of the Bay folk (if permitted) could expand on this.
