There is nothing wrong to short the stocks or buy puts etc. But the thing that I (and everyone around here) hate Fanni so much is that he has contributed NOTHING so far - absolutely nothing! Everyone can post the earning estimate. But the way Fanni chose to do it - tease the one who lost money as the stock fell - is definitely not something we can appreciate. Besides, he has yet spent any effort to verify the source of the estimate. Far be it for me to defend Vanni, but hell, he's been a lot closer to the truth than many self-styled experts around here. I don't think Fanni knows anything we don't know about. He just happened to choose to kick the dogs to suck any blood remained. His speculation on SEG has been right so far since his cockroach theory explained the fact. Hey, HWP has missed earning 3 qtrs in a row too. So, I think Fanni should try the cockroach theory there too. Maybe he will find some friends there... Besides, he kept on saying WDC and QNTM are so much better than SEG. So, where is WDC now? He was promoting WDC not long ago and now he is kicking the stock. So, if and when QNTM announced earning disappointment I believe he will be kicking QNTM too. He is in lots of way similar to after-the-fact ANALysts. In fact, sucker is probably a more suitable title for him.
