Sorta. There's a lot they could have said .... like re the charges of Bush administration censorship, they could have mentioned he gave over 1400 interviews through March 2007, while supposedly being muzzled. The guy is obsessed and ought to be fired. Thirty years heading one agency which he's recast in his own image ... it's like Hoover and the FBI. Only worse, Hoover didn't divert the FBI from it's mission of fighting crime. I didn't notice anything about his global climate modeling work being the basis of the new ice age scare in the 1970's. I didn't notice anything about his decades long record of failed alarmist predictions. I didn't notice anything about running a closed alarmist propaganda blog out of his agency, where the submissions are claimed to be 'internally peer (pal) reviewed.' There's a network of modelers and scientists (mostly at GISS, CRU, and NCAR) that work closely together and conspire to suppress skeptical science and destroy the careers and reputations of dissenters. Theleaked climategate emails showed what I think is the tip of the iceberg ... we just saw one of the network member's (Phil Jones) emails there. I suspect an examination of the files at GISS and NCAR would be equally revealing. Lastly, I didn't see anything about the adjustments to the climate record that GISS have made. Just look at the chart below and you can see GISS has CHANGED the temperature record. In 1980, 1980 was on record as cooler than 1940. Hansen fixed that inconvenient problem!
