Of course there would be a selection process. Canadians forget that Chinese labour built the railways, hotels, roads and infrastructure for most of this country. Descendants of these Chinese labourerors still send to China for their wives. They are honourable and even when their mafia go on wanton killing sprees they kill other Chinese. Even today you can walk into a Chinese restaurant in southern Saskatchewan and still have to point at the number on the menu so the waitress knows what you want. Noblesse oblige
