Connecticut Water Service Inc. (NASDAQ: CTWS) - The common for this water company trading at all time high
CONNECTICUT WTR SVC (OTC Markets: CTWSO) - preferred yields 5.5% tax friendly

Started a position in the thinly (ill-liquid) preferred CTWSO. This yields 5.5% at a discount to PAR (my cost $14.50/share). Cash value at $20/share and company can buy back at $21.00/share plus dividends.

This goes into my Bond/income bucket w/ a 46% bonus if ever called. This has traded between $17 - $14 since 1/2015.

The company owns some undervalued real estate too.

Here is the link for the preferred from Quantum

The value proposition is you are buying the 5.5% tax friendly dividend w/ a possible 46% gain if ever called. It will be difficult to ever sell as a source of funds but may/could sell at $16.00/share. Common stock trading at all time high too.
