Almost all of us are removed by only one or two degrees from somebody who was lost on 9/11.

My personal remove is defined by my brother-in-law, whose father worked in the WTC. His father survived the first bombing and subsequently retired, but lost over two dozen colleagues and friends on 9/11.

My sister worked a couple of blocks away and watched the buildings being built. She too got far away before 9/11.

I often see the phrase "We will never forget!" I would add to that "We will never forget WHO DID IT!"
