I don't hate Anglos, quite the contrary. After all, my own ancestry is more than 50% English. And I love English culture. I am, in fact, an Anglophile. Don't actually know all that much about Victorians. Seems like there was a lot of virtue in Great Britain long before she came around. My favorite philosophical concepts, free trade, free speech, free thought, universal suffrage, are not Victorian virtues. I also admire Epictetus, Marcus Aurelius, Adam Smith, John Locke, and many others who long predated Victoria.
