My point simply was that the people who were asking for the names of the brokerages do not understand the analysts well enough to interpret those differences which indeed do exist. In fact, when I challenged them to provide a brief list of the analysts they know, along with the nuances of their coverage, all I got was links to a list of brokers covering a stock, commodity information available in any Nelsons book. No one was able to demonstrate the understood these nuances among the analysts, so obviously there is little point to their requests for the names of the sources, other than to harrass me.
