You would think I'd finally be joyous this morning with the way the Jets somehow pulled a rabbit out of their hat in the closing moments against the Cowboys. Wrong. I actually was so tired I was fast asleep on the couch by then. Instead, I feel denied. And speaking of being denied, there's also a dead squirrel on the road in front of my house. Driving down the road is like traveling in a little critter battle zone. If that's not the origin of the saying "going nuts", it should be. As for the expression "whack a mole", that I understand. If anyone has a sure-fire way to kill moles (which make raised tunnels all over your yard and then big round sinkholes in random spots), please let me know. - Jeff
