Putting the gold in the square is like the mother hippo I saw [on video] pushing her baby up among the crocodiles, apparently to introduce it to them. Presumably they were learning that any biting of the baby would mean instant huge teeth through the middle of the guilty crocodile. So leave the baby alone. I'm with Vlad and the mother hippo.

The Lehman employees didn't just do any stupid thing that came into their heads. They follow the corporate strategy. They each have at least one manager, probably a few [a compliance officer, a strategy manager, an employment manager, an office protocol manager or something]. The strategy was bung.
