Potentially dangerous situation: I think I have found another reason Peak has not been trading very many shares as of late. As everyone knows Peak is trying to get on the Bulletin Board, but just recently the NASD has asked Peak to have all of their accounting re-done by a big name nationally recognized firm. This is detailed in their Nov. 14th press release where they say:
"PeakSoft Corp is in the process of engaging KPMG us.kpmg.com as auditor for the US GAAP reconciliation requested by the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) to complete the company's application for an OTC Bulletin Board listing. PeakSoft will also retain KPMG as auditors for the latest fiscal year ending september 30 1997.

At first glance this seems okay, but the problem is that the Bulletin Board is an UNREGULATED EXCHANGE! It is very rare for the NASD to require a firm, trying to get on the Bulletin Board, to have their accounting re-done. My only conclusion, and I hope I am wrong, is that the NASD saw some things they thought we "questionable" and they wanted the accounting re-done by a high profile firm. The problem for us is that if KPMG comes back and does indeed find something wrong, I don't know what, with the way Peak has been doing their books then we will wake up to a $0.10 stock the next morning. That scares the hell out of me.
