What do you think of my proposal, posted to Brumar, as using the percentage of working climate scientists that participated in Climategate as measure of the corruption that may be in GW research?

Kind of silly, I'm afraid. What would a percentage tell you about the behavior of the scientists not mentioned in the Climategate leak, or their influence in the field? In any human network, some people matter much more than others.

I think you should read one of Dr. Spenser's books. He should be able to satisfy you as to the science. For myself, I'm confident that what I'm talking about is not science, but politics and propaganda. What the science says scarcely matters at this point, though in the long run, the evidence (or lack thereof) will carry weight.
