Really? Like when both parties agreed to gut SS an blow the money set aside for future retirees on other, now forgotten wars and corporate bailouts? Yeah, Matt, those were the good old days. The tent is a fascist perpetual warfare state. I don't see much difference between the two parties end game, just in how and how quickly we arrive there. And Matt falls right into the 2 party trap. Which is the easy way to justify one's position. The fact that the O-man is Bush III seems to have escaped him. By siding with the D's and Zer0, the progressives have thrown in the towel on any real change...just a continuation of sinking into the fascist mire.
